We are back: THE Nordic Cleantech event of the year!

Organized for the seventh time, it truly is the best meeting place for the Nordic cleantech industry and investors. The two-days program includes the familiar ingredients from investor speed-dating, dealflow-sessions in front of the VC Jury and interesting seminars accompanied by new flavors like the Pre-events specially tailored for cleantech companies and investors separately.

A set of thought provoking and inspiring keynote speakers will share their thoughts on the current economic development around the world and its influence on the promise of green growth, exploring the role cleantech has to play in it. Among the keynote speakers are:

Mr Esko Aho
Harvard Senior Fellow,
former Prime Minister of Finland,
having later had top positions in Nokia and
Sitra, the Finnish National Innovation Fund

Ms Changhua Wu
Greater China Director of the Climate Group and
head of China Redesign, a program to shift China’s
energy and resource consumption toward low emissions
while accelerating green growth.

 
Mohan Guruswamy, Chairman of the Centre for
Policy Alternatives, a New Delhi-based think-tank
with three decades of experience in government,
industry and academia.

Nicholas Brooke is the Chairman of the Hong Kong
Science and Technology Parks Corporation which
was established in 2001 with the objectives of fostering
Hong Kong’s role as a hub for the development of
innovation and technology.

Highlights of the program:

• A Pre-event session on Value Capture and Investability - A KeyStone Compact Primer:
  … with Prof. Peter Adriaens, University of Michigan walking us through on a case example of a company evaluation using the Key Stone Compact™ light method designed to determine investability and value capturing potential of a company. Some of the recent Nordic success stories like Beneq and Eniram have passed through this evaluation with bright colors.
    
• Meet the leading Chinese financial and industrial actors interested in cleantech opportunities in the Nordics:
  …attend the China – Nordic Investor Summit on May 28 and a special session on May 29 and learn about the latest trends in greening the Chinese economy and exploring the country’s cleantech potential.
    
• Learn what is happening in cleantech financing:
  …we look into new funding solutions such as crowd-funding, new cleantech VC funds and their prospects, and the experience of financing at such crucial development stage as proof of concept.
    
• Pitch to international investors:
  …a combination of a speed-dating session where companies and investors will be matched according to preferences and six dedicated pitching sessions observed by the VC Jury will give a maximum investor exposure to cleantech companies looking to raise funds.
